Val D'Orcia Tuscany

A land of age old agricultural traditions with an economy still dependent on the land, the Val D'Orcia, on the border of the Tuscan region, boasts a countryside similar to that of Siena which inspired poets and painters, and offers numerous itineraries for excursions.

Its villages are those of Castelmuzio, Monte Oliveto, Monticchiello, Castiglione D'orcia, Montefollonico, Petrolio, Bagno Vignoni and Radicofoni. The Val D'Orcia has a long history of offering hospitality to travelers, which today is expressed in events such as the Festival of Val D'Orcia. Not to be missed: the Churches of St Antimo and St Anna.
