Villa Mannori introduction
Villa Mannori is an exclusive residence situated in the countryside just outside Vinci: the small Tuscan town where the Renaissance genius, Leonardo, was born. The villa is located in the green hillside of Montalbano, part of which, towards the end of the 16th century, was transformed in hunting reserve for the Medici family.
A breathtaking Tuscan landscape of olive groves, vineyards, and oak woods surrounds the residence. A characteristic country house featuring a beautiful selection of period furnishings, Villa Mannori has been carefully renovated so as to meet modern specifications of comfort and technology.
The ground floor of Villa Mannori is comprised of sitting room, dining room, reading room and traditional country kitchen, this latter complete with professional work stations and wood burning oven. The picturesque loggia provides a charming outdoor sitting-cum-dining room. The villa's five bedrooms, all of which open on to a spacious reading room with large fireplace, are located on the first floor of the building. Three bathrooms, each with hydromassage tub and shower, are also situated on the first floor of the villa.
Villa Mannori's extensive gardens, complete with swimming pool, solarium, gazebo, pergola, and children's play area make it a great choice for a family holiday. Walkers will have fun following nature trails which lead past a number of fascinating archeological sites and into the centuries-old oak woods of Pietramarina. The nearby town of Vinci is just minutes away and an absolute must for art lovers.
