Relais La Suvera Casole D'Elsa

Relais La Suvera enjoys a fabulously peaceful position in the enchanting Chianti countryside, between the famous Tuscan cities of Siena and Florence.
In the high middle ages, the Suvera was a castle belonging to the county of Siena. In later years, the Republic of Siena donated the Suvera to Pope Julius II, in an attempt to gain the favour of the church. Architect and painter, Baldassarre Peruzzi, (Siena 1481 - Roma 1536), was the man chosen by the Pope to realize the transformation of the building from Medieval fortified construction in sumptuous renaissance villa.
Many centuries later, the current owners, the Marquis Ricci and his wife, Princess Eleonora Massimo, opened the doors of their exclusive Tuscan residence to a selected international clientele.

The Relais la Suvera has a total of 19 bedrooms and 13 suites guest bedrooms and suites all individually appointed and home to countless antiques and precious heirlooms from the proprietors' family collections.
Exquisitely presented Tuscan and Italian cuisine is savored in the hotel's Oliviera restaurant and terrace. The hotel's highly acclaimed wine list features the finest vintages from the region of Tuscany and beyond.
During the day, guests relax at the hotel's Bar dei Limoni or by the large heated swimming pool, equipped with ultra modern purification system and hydromassage corner. For those wishing to indulge in a little pampering or simply maintain their exercise routines, the Relais La Suvera's wellness center offers an impressive series of massages and beauty treatments in addition to a hydromassage pool, steam bath, and fitness area.
