Occupying what was once a medieval farmstead, Il Molinello provides holiday accommodation in a cluster of attractive bedrooms and apartments, perfect for both a romantic weekend escape or a relaxing vacation with the kids. In all rooms, the rustic charm of Tuscany's old rural homes combines with modern hotel standard facilities, ensuring maximum comfort. Ideal for those wishing to self-cater, each of Il Molinello's apartments has a large and well-equipped kitchen-dining area. Ground floor apartments also have their own private garden.

Each morning, guests who requested breakfast at the time of booking, are presented with a generous buffet of local Tuscan delicacies. The freshly baked bread, milk, honey, jam, cold meats and cheeses are all one hundred percent organic.

In the warm summer months, residents while away the afternoons soaking up the Tuscan sun by the swimming pool or snoozing in the shade of the garden's centuries old trees. For younger guests, there is a playground with slides, swings and climbing frames. Those keen to taste Tuscany's excellent food and wine, can attend one of Il Molinello's sommelier hosted wine tastings or even try their hand at truffle hunting.

Popular excursions organized by the farm stay include "Saturday evening at the spa", at the nearby Terme di San Giovanni, and the free guided tour of Siena (Tuesdays only).
