Il Filo di Arianna is a country bed & breakfast located in the immediate vicinity of San Quirico d'Orcia, in the heart of the Orcia Valley. The Val d'Orcia is one of the most beautiful area's in the whole of Tuscany: a place steeped in history, art, and popular traditions; known and loved for its stunning landscapes, warm hospitality and gastronomic excellence.

The bed & breakfast Il Filo di Arianna occupies an old farmhouse which, from its hilltop position, boasts stunning views across the Val d'Orcia. The bedrooms of the bed & breakfast Filo di Arianna are furnished in romantic Provencal style: in perfect harmony with the traditional architectural features of this Tuscan country home. All of the bedrooms are situated on the ground floor of the farmhouse, as are the breakfast room and common room, this latter equipped with wi-fi internet connection.

In the grounds of the farmhouse there is a traditional wood burning oven and attractive pergola, furnished with table and chairs, where to relax whilst admiring the breathtaking scenery of the Val d'Orcia. Guests sojourning at the bed & breakfast are granted special rates in a number of the area's restaurants and shops and for entrance to the neighbouring swimming pool.

The bed & breakfast Il Filo di Arianna is situated in the countryside immediately outside San Quirico d'Orcia, in the Val d'Orcia, in a gently undulating landscape characterised by the presence of enchanting medieval villages and fields where the finest products of Tuscany are cultivated.
From San Quirico d'Orcia the towns of Pienza, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni, Montalcino and Chianciano Terme are all just a short drive away. Travelling northwards, across the magnificent Crete Senesi, visitors soon reach the city of Siena and the hills of Chianti.
