The Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte is situated in the famous Tuscan beach resort of Viareggio. The hotel, built on the seaside promenade, was founded in the early 1920's under the name Select Palace Hotel. Just a few years after opening, a further two floors and a splendid façade were added to the hotel. In 1938, the hotel was given its current name of Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte. For decades the hotel has been the chosen residence in Viareggio for an international clientele and has been featured in numerous cinematographic productions.

The Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte has a total of 106 guest bedrooms, distributed on the 5 floors of the hotel, each distinguished by color and décor.
