Grand Hotel & La Pace was built in 1870 in the center of Tuscany's Monecatini Terme and within close proximity of the town's historic thermal resort. The hotel has a total of 138 bedrooms and suites all decorated in Art Nouveau style and featuring antiques and exquisite vintage mobilia.

The Grand Hotel & la Pace's magnificent Presidential Suite overlooks three sides of the building and is comprised of a large bedroom, meeting room with seating capacity for 8 people, sitting room, marble bathroom with hydromassage tub, and a 20sqm terrace. A total of as many as 6 rooms can connect to the Presidential suite, so as to create a truly palatial apartment.

The ceilings and walls of the hotel's "Michelangelo" Restaurant are embellished with the ornate frescos by Galileo Chini who used the local marble of Carrara in what has to be Monetcatini Terme's most elegant dining room. Here guests are treated to superb Italian and International cuisine with a particular emphasis being given to local Tuscan dishes. Light lunches are served in the informal environment of the Grand Hotel & La Pace's poolside restaurant, overlooking the pool and the hotel's extensive gardens.

The hotel has 6 meeting and conference rooms with a seating capacity for up to 350 participants. The Montecatini railway station is 1km from the hotel. By car, drivers should take the A11 Firenze-Pisa Nord motorway and exit at Montecatini Terme or the A11 Viareggio-Firenze motorway and exit, again, at Montecatini Terme, km 2.
