The Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco occupies a beautifully restored 18th century manor house belonging to the Illuminati family, transformed in delightful guest accommodation in the form of 10 individually appointed apartments, furnished with antique and classic Tuscan furniture. Outbuildings, once used as stables, cattle stalls and barns all date back to the early 19th century.

The stables have now been skilfully converted in a restaurant where guests enjoy the best Tuscan cuisine accompanied by the finest wines. During the warm summer months, the patio overlooking the garden and fruit orchards serves as charming al fresco dining room. A large swimming pool with 5 Jacuzzi massage corners is situated in the gardens of the property.

The old cellar of the Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco, houses an exceptional selection of wines from the region including award winning vintages of Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and other Super Tuscans. Guests staying at the property also have the opportunity to taste the wine produced on the estate, genuine home made wines such as the full bodied red Tenorio della Foresteria, and the sweet Vin Santo desert wine. A limited quantity of superb olive oil is obtained from the Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco's olive groves.
