Casa Lemmi Bed & Breakfast San Quirico d'Orcia

Casa Lemmi San Quirico d'Orcia

Casa Lemmi occupies a fabulous position in the heart of the beautiful Tuscan town of San Quirico D'Orcia, with views of the 12th century Romanesque-Gothic Collegiata Church and, in the distance, the imposing form of Mount Amiata. Palazzo Lemmi is of Norman origins and over the centuries has functioned as refuge for the Knights Templar, an Imperial residence, convent, fortified house and, for over three centuries, as home to proprietors of a nearby estate in Val d'Orcia.

The wing of the building which was once used for agricultural purposes has been restored and converted in charming guest accommodation. Cleverly designed so as to offer the utmost in comfort and modern conveniences, Casa Lemmi has individually appointed and wonderfully spacious bedrooms and suites, decorated in traditional Tuscan style and featuring magnificent exposed wooden beam ceilings. The "Imperial" suite, with huge travertine marble fireplace, leads out on to a balcony overlooking the Collegiata Church.

Each morning guests are served a generous breakfast either in the "Sala Normanna" or, in warm summer months, in the delightful courtyard garden. Whatever the weather, guests can swim in the beautiful indoor pool located in the palazzo's ancient cellars.

Casa Lemmi, is perfectly situated for those wishing to explore the Tuscan hill towns of Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, and the ancient spa town of Bagni Vignoni. Guests staying at the Casa Lemmi are able to park in the immediate vicinity of the bed & breakfast. The necessary parking permit will be forwarded to guests by email.
