For years, Paola and Giorgio, Casa Fabbrini's owners, had dreamt of abandoning life in the city and returning to their origins in the Tuscan countryside, where to create a welcoming and exclusive hideaway to share with like-minded travelers. So, when the opportunity arose to purchase this 17th century farmstead in San Casciano Bagni, they jumped at the chance.

Cleverly combining traditional Tuscan and contemporary interiors, Casa Fabbrini's bedrooms feature both original architectural features (such as the meticulously restored 17th century doors) and modern hotel-standard amenities.

Casa Fabbrini is situated at the center of a working farm and it is in the fields surrounding the farmhouse that great part of the ingredients used to make the guest house's delicious Tuscan dishes are grown. For those guests keen to learn the art of Tuscan cooking, Paola and Giorgio organize five day hands-on country cooking courses.

During the day, guests chill in Casa Fabbrini's large open space living room, watching the TV, flicking through the papers, perusing the farm stay's impressive book collection, or simply chatting over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Outdoor types will enjoy strolling through the farm's fruit orchard and olive groves, or lazing by the salt water swimming pool, located in a particularly sunny corner of the garden.
