Campo di Carlo Sassetta - Tuscany

Campo di Carlo is a charming country residence just outside the pretty Tuscan town of Sassetta, and right in the heart of Maremma. The careful restoration of the old stone farmhouse was supervised by the owners, Andrea and Cristina, who then proceeded to transform the property in attractive holiday accommodation.

Campo di Carlo has a total of eight bedrooms, many of which large enough to sleep up top four people. All rooms are furnished in typical Tuscan style, with terracotta floor tiles and exposed wooden beam ceilings, and have been decorated using the soothing colors of the surrounding landscape.

During their vacation at Campo di Carlo, guests are granted use of the farmhouse's spacious and well equipped kitchen, the traditional wood-burning oven, and the barbecue. The property's sunny and well-kept garden provides the idyllic setting for Campo di Carlo's swimming pool and solarium.

On warm evenings, the furnished patio overlooking the garden transforms in charming out-door lounge, where to partake in a glass or two of one of Maremma's excellent wines or simply relax and enjoy the peace of the countryside. Campo di Carlo is ideally situated for those wishing to explore the hillside of Maremma (by foot, by mountain bike, or on horseback), but also for sea-lovers eager to spend a day on the beaches of the nearby Etruscan coast.
